The Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), Prof. Francisca Bassey has appointed the Acting Head of Department of Journalism and Media studies, Mr. Cornelius Ellah as the Chairman of the University Media Team.
The appointment was contained in a letter signed by the Registrar of the University, Mr. Victor Ephraim Ene.
The Management while expressing confidence in Mr. Ellah and the team, assured them of support as they assume their new responsibilities.
Ellah who has served as Acting Head of Department of the school’s Mass Communication Department, will be heading other members of the team including Dr. Bibiana Ineji and Miss. Obangham Etiowo, both from the Department of Journalism and Media Studies.
Others are Dr. Cassius Ogar of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Ogoja Campus; and Dr. Michael Ebe Nandi of the Department of Anatomy, Okuku Campus.
According to the letter, the appointment is with immediate effect.
