Happy Birthday To Our Amiable Editor-In-Chief And Indefatigable Journalist, Citizen Agba Jalingo BY PATRICK OBIA

Today, we do not merely mark the passing of another year; we celebrate a life poured out in service to truth, justice, and humanity. You are more than a leader. You are a light bearer in dark places, a voice for the voiceless, and a compass for many who would have lost their way in the storm of intimidation, injustice and abuse.

Your coaching, training, and mentorship have shaped minds and strengthened spines. Through the platform you selflessly provide, countless young journalists and civic actors have found courage, clarity, and conviction. You do not just teach journalism; you model it with fearlessness, ethics, and unapologetically committed to the public good.

Your leadership is lauded in great measure, not only by men and women who witness your sacrifices daily on earth, but by the host of heaven, who honours those who stand for righteousness.

In moments when silence seemed safer, lies looking like truth and truth like lies, you chose truth for truth. When compromise looked convenient, you chose principle. That choice has inspired many afar and close to believe that integrity still has a place in public life.

Your firmness, boldness, courage, and tenacity in the face of injustice and human rights abuses remain unmatched. You have stood your ground when pressure mounted, refusing to bow or break. In doing so, you have reminded society that journalism is not just a profession but a calling.

As you celebrate today, may strength be renewed, wisdom multiplied, and grace abound. You will continue to mount wings like the eagles and speed like the Peregrine Falcon in all you do for the rest of your life. The struggle continues, but so does your impact.

Happy Birthday, Citizen Agba Jalingo⁩ . Your work speaks, your legacy grows, and your courage lives on. Cheers to many years ahead!!
