As date for People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primaries for the 2015 General Elections is fast closing in, the ruling party in Cross River has started holding nocturnal and close door meetings in isolated locations that would attract less suspicion and puck-nosing from newsmen.

One of those secret meetings was convened on Friday, August 29, 2014 at the CARLCON Hotels Limited at Ikorinim, Calabar, where all the Vice Chairmen of the 18 Local Governments of Cross River State were in attendance.

The meeting which was held behind close door lasted for more than four hours, vital issues concerning the upcoming party primaries of PDP in the state, and what their bosses expects of them which translate to what the number one citizen of the state want from them.

CrossRiverWatch gathered that the PDP top hierarchy in the state are not sleeping comfortably and are worried about what will be the outcome of the party primaries especially for the governorship position, as many people and analysts strongly believe that the state government is very uncomfortable with the presence of some governorship aspirant in the race for 2015.

Some also are of the strong position that the song about the governorship going to the north in 2015 is a complete farce and that the numbers of governorship aspirants from the north was a clear indication that someone is playing the music for the various masquerades that have each refused so far to get tired of the dance even when the audience/spectators refuse to clap.
