The immediate past Leader of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Victor Ndoma Egba, SAN has returned to legal practice after spending a record three terms in the red chambers.
In a telephone chat with CrossRiverWatch, Egba said the transition back to his first love, which is legal practice, is seamless though he had been away from it for twelve long years. “For me, the work I went to do for my people in the Senate was a full time job and I took it as such. After twelve years of creditably discharging that assignment, coming back to my legal practice was quite simple. The transition is seamless and I look forward to the new challenges.”
Senator Victor Ndoma Egba, the Leader of the Seventh Senate will be remembered as one of the country’s most eloquent and respected Senate Leader of all times, who commanded the respect and cooperation of his colleagues on critical national matters.
Reputed as a well cultured politician, he sponsored a record 39 bills including the Freedom of Information Law during his time in the red chambers.
