The former Deputy Leader of Obudu Legislative Council pointed out that the state’s economy will boom with the initiation of signature projects by the governor which he described as ‘developmental’ including the deep seaport, Calabar-Ogoja-Obudu Super Highway and the proposed Obudu Ranch Farm which will employ over 2500 youths.

“The entire Cross River State landscape is about to witness economic revolution and only those who are ready to come on board will benefit from these transformation initiative”.

Orim also described his appointment as a divine call to service and promised to work with the forum and youths who are willing to harness their innate potentials to contribute their quota to the development of the state and urged former leaders, no matter their grievances not to lose confidence in the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) as the governor was ready to reconcile all parties to ensure peaceful co existence. He promised that their severance allowance which is long overdue will be looked into with a view to seeing how it can be paid.

The expectation is that one goes to the office to work. So when a group of people visits someone “in the office to felicitate” inhibit productivity. People should realise that there are more appropriate places such as homes, restaurants, etc to offer congratulations.
