The Cross River State Ministry of Health has begun sale of admission forms to intending students of the Schools of Midwifery in Calabar and Moniaya, in Ogoja local government area.
The Health Commissioner, Dr. Inyang Asibong disclosed this in a public service announcement notice signed by herself titled “Admission Into Cross River State Schools Of Midwifery, September 2016” and obtained by CrossRiverWatch.
The statement directed intending applicants to collect forms after the payment of a non-refundable fee of 6,500 Naira into First Bank Account Number; 2010327711 with Revenue Code; 402042 and Account Name; CRS Govt. Revenue Account.
It further directed that completed forms must be submitted on or before September 16, 2016 with 2 recent passport photographs, photocopy of educational certificate/licence, Bank teller/Print out and 2 file jackets.
Also, the statement added that screening and interviews will be conducted at the School of Midwifery premises along Moore road in Calabar on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 8:00 AM for forms number 001 to 100 and Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 8:00 AM for forms number 100 and above.
Only candidates who are holders of registered Nurses certificate and possess a current practicing licence are eligible.
