The Cross River State Police Command has revealed why Mr. Ifere Paul was arrested and arraigned in court.
The disclosure was made by the Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Irene Ugbo while speaking with CrossRiverWatch TV in her office.

In a telephone conversation, Mr. Ifere Paul denied ever getting any invitation from the police.
He said the police violated his fundamental human rights in the manner he was arrested from Abuja and brought to Calabar and that he has briefed his lawyers who will be suing the police.
