COVID 19: Cross River NMA Donates 1,200 Bottles Of 100mls Alcohol Based Hand Sanitizer To Hospitals

As part of it’s Corporate Social Responsibility, the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in Cross River State has donated hand sanitizers to private, public (Government), cottage and missions hospitals across the State to mitigate the spread of the COVID 19 pandemic.

Chairman of NMA in the State, Dr. Agam Ayuk in company of the Association’s Secretary, Dr. Ezoke Epoke, visited secondary and tertiary health institutions in the State to donate the free sanitizers while other members of the Association visited other parts of the State.

The Association urged residents in the State to obey regular hand washing, social distance, avoid large gatherings and be self conscious.

One of the respondent, Dr. Prashant Kumar, who is the Medical Superintendent of the General Hospital Calabar, thanked the NMA for their contribution in curtailing the spread of the virus in the State.

Kumar expressed satisfaction that the sanitizers would go a long way in promoting and enhancing safety among patients and visitors to the hospital.
