#COVID-19: Cross River Records 4 More Cases

Four more cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Cross River bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 9.

The Nigerian Center for Disease Control announced 571 cases for July 12, 2020.

The NCDC said the country now has 32,558 confirmed cases of which 13,447 have been discharged and 740 deaths recorded.

Worldwide, the John Hopkins University data shows that over 12 million people have been infected globally.

In Africa, the African Center for Disease Control said over 594,000 cases have been announced by the 54 African countries.

The Situation Report shows that Cross River now has five active cases after one death was recorded and three discharged.

This means Cross River has more active cases than Bauchi (3); Yobe (3); Jigawa (2); Sokoto (2); Kogi (0) and Zamfara (0).

Only Kogi state has fewer cumulative cases at five.
