The Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Cross River State chapter, Dan Obo has resigned his membership from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Dan made his decision known in a letter addressed to his Ward Chairman of PDP, Obubra Urban, disclosing that as an advocate of back-to-south campaign he had to dump the party because they refused to heed to the agitation.

He noted that his former party has robbed the Southerners of their right to produce the next Governor adding that, “I have resolved not to be part of injustice and unfair decisions. My next political move will be communicated to the public soonest.”

The resignation letter reads: “I humbly write to notify you of my resignation from the People Democratic Party,PDP, forthwith.

“This decision to part away with the PDP is a tough one, especially at this point where the electioneering process is ongoing but I have to do this for the purpose of equity, justice and fairness, which I am a strong advocate of. Henceforth, I cease to be a member of PDP in my ward chapter.

“I have resolved not to be part of injustice and unfair decisions. My next political move will be communicated to the Public soonest.”
