ACROJ, CrossRiverWatch Salute TheInvestigator On Launch Of Journalism Hub

The Association of Cross River Online Journalists, ACROJ and the management of CrossRiverWatch have saluted the Publisher of TheInvestigator, Mr. Jeremiah Archibong on the launch of the TheInvestigator Journalism Development and Innovation Hub in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital.

The salutations came in a statement issued by the acting secretary of ACROJ, Comrade Jonathan Ugbal and a congratulatory message by CrossRiverWatch Publisher, Citizen Agba Jalingo both issued on Wednesday.

ACROJ in its statement said the commissioning of the hub is a testament to the vision and challenging work of its founders and a significant contribution to the media landscape in Cross River.

The statement quoted the acting Chairman, Comrade Umo Akwang as saying that the hub will, “undoubtedly serve as a beacon of innovation and excellence.”

“ACROJ is confident that the hub will bridge the gap in the provision of invaluable opportunities for journalists, public relations practitioners, civil society actors, and other stakeholders to learn, work and collaborate for the growth of the State and in extension, humanity.”

Furthermore, the statement congratulated the Director, Comrade Jeremiah Archibong, for his vision and pledged the support of ACROJ.

“As a respected member of our Board of Trustees and the immediate past Managing Editor of CrossRiverWatch, your achievements have always been a source of pride for our association. Your new venture aligns perfectly with ACROJ’s mission to promote quality, ethical, and innovative journalism,” ACROJ said.

In a similar vein, the congratulatory message from Citizen Jalingo said the launch showed Mr. Archibong’s doggedness and commitment in bettering society and pledged support while hoping for more of such in the State and beyond.
