The Cross River State Command of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has rolled out infographics of the Command’s Complaint Response Unit (CRU), calling on the public to report its personnel professional misconduct.
The infographics as obtained by CrossRiverWatch bear phone numbers, an e-mail address, and social media handles of the Police Command, meant to serve the purpose of quick reports by citizens bordering on professional misconduct of men of the Force.
The birth of the CRU follows the Force’s Public Relations Officer ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi and the Force Headquarters directive to all PPRO in the country to form the Unit.
“Have you experienced an abuse of authority by a Police Officer, Cross River State Command’s CRU says no to impunity, report Police Professional misconduct,” the infographics inquired.
