The Legislative arm of Bekwarra Local Government Council have in a unanimous resolution on March 20th , 2025 announced the impeachment of the chairman of the Council, Hon. Theresa Akwaji Ushie. According to a statement released by the Council Leader, Hon. Thompson Inah, the Chairman was impeached based on allegation of “gross misconduct and abuse
