Crossriverwatch can confirm that President Jonathan will address the nation 7a.m tomorrow, Tuesday, October 09, 2012, in a national broadcast expected to be on live broadcast on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) networks, a statement from the Presidency announced today.

Though the statement did not give any hint on the content of Jonathan’s broadcast, crossriverwatch can report authoritatively that the President’s address to the nation will be on the touchy and highly charged issue of Bakassi.

Nigeria has until midnight tomorrow to appeal the International Court of Justice judgment that ceded the
Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon.
