Obanlikwu Chairman Promises to Complete 13 Abandoned Projects in Less Than 8 Months

In less than eight months before he leaves office, the Chairman of Obanlikwu Local Government Area of Cross River State, Mr. Benjamin Ambe, has promised the people of the Area that he will complete all the thirteen projects inherited by his administration.

The Chairman stated this during a chat with journalists and opinion leaders in his office at Sankwala, the headquarters of Obanlikwu Local Government Area .

Mr. Ambe who has been the Chairman of the Area since 2010 said his administration has been committed to effective and efficient leadership and will continue to remain resolute in delivering his campaign promises to the people.

He noted that his administration inherited 16 uncompleted projects from the previous administration adding that three of these projects have already been completed while the remaining thirteen will be completed within the remaining eight months.

He listed the projects to include the construction of a civic center, a town hall, township stadium, a drug store, poultry house, fish pond and a mini bridge as well as culverts and construction of six class room blocks amongst others.

Mr. Ambe allayed fears the fears of the people and assured them that all the projects will be completed before the end of his administration in October 2013.
