All is now set for the unveiling of the Mascot and Logo of the 2014 National Sports Festival in Calabar tomorrow, Friday, March 20, 2014.
The Cross River State Commissioner for Sports and Youths Development, Mr. Patrick Ugbe, who spoke to CrossRiverWatch earlier today confirmed that the event will hold at the Nation’s Arena and there will be plenty of entertainment and other side attractions.
Mr. Ugbe said: “Yes we are unveiling the mascot, logo and theme song for the national sports festival tomorrow at the Nation’s Place and there will be plenty of entertainment. The U.J. Esuene stadium is presently undergoing renovation in readiness for the games and we are preparing to give Nigerians a befitting fiesta.
The state governor, Senator Liyel Imoke had earlier promised that the 2014 National Sports Festival aka ‘Paradise Games’ to be hosted by Cross River State will be the best ever that the country has ever seen.
