Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba has debunked the publication by News Agency of Nigeria, NAN which was culled by CrossRiverWatch describing it as fiction.
The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN had quoted the Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District as saying that ‘Cross River will Suffer If i don’t return as Senator’ a statement that was widely publicised shortly after the Senate Leader had an informal meeting with some group of journalists in Calabar the state Capital.
In a chat with Crossriverwatch,Senator Ndoma Egba said , “Let me state categorically that I did not, again, did not grant any interview on Sunday”.
He continued saying: “I did not speak to any journalist on Sunday neither have I discussed my political future with anyone in the manner reported”.
The Senate Leader explained that “While I concede that my running again for the Senate is a feasible option”, he is yet to make a formal statement to that effect.
“The story is therefore a fiction and futuristic, for now”, He ended.
