The executive chairman of Ogoja Local Government council, Hon. Rita Agbo Ayim has commended Hon. John Owan Enoh for spending a whopping one hundred million Naira on the empowerment of his constituents.
The chairman made this known at the venue of the empowerment program in Ikom Local Government Area of the state on Saturday.
While addressing the press, the chairman described Owan Enoh as a philanthropist sent by God to the people of Etung/Obubra federal constituency of the state and called for support of the people of the area to enable the law maker represent them positively.
The council boss further stressed that the lawmaker does not only represent Etung/Obubra people, but the entire state because he did not limit himself and his empowerment project to the people of his constituency alone, but the entire state.
Ayim used the occasion to advise the people of the area on the need to vote good and God fearing people that would remember them at the end of the day both in elective and appointive positions stressing that it is with such people that they can be guaranteed of dividends of democracy.
She added that Hon. John Owan Enoh’s gesture to his people is a demonstration of love and a way of saying thank you for the support he has enjoyed from them throughout his political career.
Ayim further prayed that God will give Owan the wisdom to continue the good work he has started, and urged other political office holders to emulate the lawmaker for what he has been doing to his people and advised others who are in elective positions to see this as a challenge to govern their people well.
