Mrs Obioma Liyel Imoke wife of the Cross River State Governor alongside three other youths from Cross River State have been given awards as Peace Ambassadors in the country and the continent at large by the African First Ladies Peace Mission, AFLPM.

At the well attended National Peace Concert organized by the African First Ladies in solidarity with the 43 students of the Federal Government College Yobe who were killed by Boko Haram at the Eagles Square Abuja, on the 8th of March, 2014, the Cross River State First Lady, Mrs Imoke was awarded Peace Ambassador along side Comrade Okori Benard Oko the chairman of the Youth Council of Nigeria Cross River State Chapter, Comrade Lekan Christopher Ebam and Comrade Awatt Caleb for their outstanding contribution to the sustenance of peace both in the state and the country at large.
