The chairman of Ogoja Local Government council of Cross River State Hon. Rita Ayim has congratulated Senator Liyel Imoke, the Executive Governor of the State, Ntufam John Okon and the entire State Exco of the People Democratic Party on the occasion of its second year anniversary celebration in office.
In a good will message by the Council Boss to the Party Chairman Ntufam John Okon , she described him as a bridged builder, a committed , purposeful, pragmatic and a visionary leader who had contributed immensely to the unity of the Party.
The Council Chairman further stressed that PDP remains the number one Party in the State and the country at large because of its vision and will continue to rule in Cross River, especially with Ntufam John Okon as the party chairman. She described PDP as a winning party, adding that the achievements of the party are tangible all over the state especially in the last local government election across the state.
Hon. Ayim lauded Senator Liyel imoke and the Party Chairman John Okon for creating the enabling environment for women and youths in the State to be given opportunities into elective and appointive positions in their respective local governments and commended the party for zoning the governorship to the Northern Senatorial District of the State.
