The Cross River State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC),Usani Usani has inaugurated the state working committee of the party in Calabar with a called to all the aggrieved members of the party to close ranks and work together to achieve a common purpose of winning elections in the state.
The inauguration which was done side by side with the reception of the New National Vice Chairman South of APC, Comrade Hilliard Eta witnessed a large turnout of supporters of the party from Cross River State and beyond at the party Secretariat.
The chairman said in the time past, Cross River opposition has not come together as a united family determined to make change a reality like it is happening presently.
Usani mandated the Chapter chairmen of the party in the eighteen local governments of the state to go ahead and inaugurate the local government officers to enable them commence mobilization of members in the nooks and crannies of Cross River state.
He appealed to those who he described as “Cronies of PDP to leave the party for their good and not to pollute APC’s desire to change Cross River for better”, stressing that by the position of the state exco and leaders of the party, they have ways of getting information that can expose those claiming to be APC in the afternoon but PDP at night.
