The G18 Coalition, a political support group for Goddy Jedy Agba, a governorship aspirant in the state has yesterday embarked upon a sensitization campaign in Calabar South LGA visiting the 12 wards in the LGA.

The group was led by Mr. Ukpong Ukpong representative of Calabar South in the group alongside other members.

Our reporter was present as the group visited ward 5 where Mr. Adie Ugbezie representative of Obudu in the group maintained that the forthcoming election for governor of the state will be one that the people of the state will not forget in a hurry, he said while addressing the people of ward five.

He said, “Before if person like Jedy want to contest for governor na the big big people for up like Orok Duke, Essien Ayi and Gershom Bassey go sit down for up do everything but now we the young ones that in those days used to snatch ballot boxes into the bush and thump print will do that no more which is why we must support a credible candidate like Jedy Agba”.

He urged the residents of the ward to bear in mind that the G18 is a force drawn up to ensure that the right choice of the next governor will be one that has the might to deliver the state from its present state of near collapse.
