Governor Liyel Imoke, turns 53 on August 10

The Chairman, Ogoja Local Government Council Area, Hon. Rita Agbo Ayim has congratulated his Excellency, the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke on the occasion of his 53rd Birthday.

In her congratulatory message made available to us by her Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Chris Abang, she described Imoke as a symbol of true leadership, hope for the hopeless, genuine representation of the downtrodden and a true symbol of selfless leadership. She further noted that Imoke is a true democrat, who has played positive role towards the sustainability of good governance in the state and Nigeria at large.

According to the chairman, his life has been spent in the promotion of unity anchored on humanity, development and transformation of rural areas across the state. That as a Governor of Cross River State, he has demonstrated an exemplary leadership quality, devoid of sentiments in the phenomenal development of the state as seen in human oriented projects regardless of the lean financial resources of the state.

She stated that Ogoja people are proud to associate themselves with the governor and believe in his leadership and see him as a model of good governance that the next administration will rely on for stability and sustainability.
