Information reaching CrossRiverWatch has it that early on Thursday morning 14 August 2014 at about between 6am-7am a ‘keke NAPEP’ driver plying Watt Roundabout, Edgerton, Beach Market route and the another guy, a family man who was just retuning from work were murdered.
The incident resulted in an argument after the alleged killer who is on the run used spanner to stab the dead guys who allegedly passed out in the hands of the police.
The murdered keke driver and the other victim whose names were not immediately available according to our source, were until their death members of Supreme Vikings Confraternity and were killed by a rival gang popularly called KC.
The source who wants to remain anonymous also disclosed that “Already the Vikings have today retaliated by killing someone else who unfortunately is not a KC but belong to another cult group”.
As at the time of filing this report all effort to get the bio-data of the two young men killed and to speak to the Cross River State Police Public Relation Officer, Mr. Hogan Bassey were not successful.
