Baring any change of mind, the Senate Leader, Senator Victor Ndoma Egba, SAN is set to award another set of scholarships to students from Cross River Central Senatorial District who met the required guidelines on Monday 15th Sept 2014.
CrossRiverWatch gathered that the event which is expected to commence at 10 a.m. at the mini hall of Channel View Hotels, Calabar will have the Senate Leader himself personally present.
The Ndoma Egba Scholarship Scheme has over the years given support to over 600 Students who are indigenes of Cross River State from the Central Senatorial District. These include PHD, M.sc, MBA, M.A, B.sc and HND holders.
According to the information available to CrossRiverWatch, Monday Scholarship award will consolidate on the Senate Leader’s deliberate policy and desire to support serious students at any level who are academically sound but financially incapable of furthering their educational pursuit.
The Scholarship program which started thirty years ago has supported students in different field of studies.
