The Cross River State command of the Nigerian Police Force has a new Commissioner Titilayo M. Busari.
Until his appointment, Busari has served in various capacities including Commandant, Nigeria Police College Maiduguri.
A dogged fighter and intelligent police officer, Busari contributed immensely to the training and intelligence gathering of the fine officers of the Nigerian police.
He replaced another intelligent and sport loving officer, Kola Shodipo who has contributed immensely to the peace and tranquility in Cross River State.
Now posted to Oyo State, Shodipo will be remembered for his alertness, transparent and open door policy which many of his predecessors in the state may not be proud of.
He picked his phone calls at anytime even in the odd hours and responds swiftly to any emergency.
The posting according to force acting Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu followed the recent promotions and retirements in the Nigerian Police Force which led to vacancies in Command positions.
Ojukwu who announced the redeployments in a statement noted that the appointments were done in line with the determination and drive of the Acting Inspector General of Police to reposition the Nigeria Police Force for improved service delivery.
