The University of Calabar has again been thrown into mourning as one of its own, Prof. Isika Martin Andor of the faculty of Agricultural Science is dead.
CrossRiverWatch gathered that late Prof. Andor slumped after presenting his manifesto yesterday night in his bid to become the Dean of Post Graduate School, and was rushed to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) where he passed on.
Information reaching CrossRiverWatch indicates that the late Professor from Obudu was among four persons vying for the post of Dean of Postgraduate School, and was the first among the contestants to present his manifesto.
Though the University authority is yet to issue official report of his passage, CrossRiverWatch learnt that his body has been deposited at the UCTH mortuary.
