The Provost of Federal College of Education Obudu, Cross River state Chief Eugene Ibli, on Sunday said that the school is ready to host the next edition of the Nigerian Colleges of Education Games, NICEGA billed to be hosted by the school in 2015.

Mr. Ibli who gave this assurance in Minna after collecting the NACEGA hosting flag for the 19th edition of the games in Obudu said the school has top notch sporting facilities that will set new records in the history of the games.

“We are set to host the games 100 percent better than Minna. I can assure you that we have in our college classical sporting facilities to host world sporting events. As you are aware we successfully hosted the 17th edition of the games. We have improved on our facilities based on our experiences”, he said

He said that the management of the College has contacted multi-national companies for the sponsorship of the games in view of the huge financial requirement that is beyond the budget of the institution.
