The opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) today joined supporters of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) to welcome Governor Liyel Imoke to the party’s campaign rally in Okpoma, Yala local government area.

In a banner which was conspicuously displayed at the entrance to the venue of the rally, courtesy of Barrister Tony Odey, an APC chieftain in Yala local government area, the opposition party gleefully acknowledged the coming of the State Governor.

Supporters present at the rally expressed mixed reactions. While some people perceived it as a sign of maturity, others saw it as a job seeking gimmick.
