Gerald Adah, Okon Asim Return To Exco As Imoke Appoints 10 New Special Advisers, 3 Special Assistants

The State Governor, Senator Liyel Imoke this evening approved the appointment of 10 new Special Advisers.

According to a statement signed by Mr. Christian Ita, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, the new appointees are;

1. Mr. Ken Egbas

2. Mr. Gerald Adah

3. Mrs. Margaret Ebokpo

4. Mr. Edward Ogon

5. Prof. Osam Edim Temple

6. Mr. Godwin Assam Efa

7. Elder Simon Ntino

8. Mr. Boniface Archibong

9. Ntufam Edet Okon Asim

10 Ntufam Joseph Ekpe Edet

In a related development, Governor Imoke has also approved the appointment of (3) new Special Assistants.
The appointees are;

1. Mr. Maurice Ekong, Special Assistant (Political)

2. Mr. Christopher Ekpenyong, Special Assistant (Special Duties)

3. Dr. Uke Enun, Special Assistant (Events Management).

By this appointment, Mr. Ekong replaces Emmanuel Ironbar, while Ekpenyong and Enun replace Ekeng Henshaw and Totsman Etorti, respectively.

The statement directed the outgone Special Assistants, to immediately handover all government property, including official vehicles in their possession to the office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor.

The Governor also in the statement relieved 2 Community Relation Officers (CROs) of their duties, just as he appointed 5 new ones.

The two CROs relieved of their jobs are;

1. Mr. Pius Bassey – Odukpani
2. Mr. Aloysius Ene – Calabar South 2.

Consequently, the Governor approved the appointments of Mr. Godswill Eki and Mr. Francis E. Effiong as replacements for Bassey and Ene respectively.

The other three new CROs are Mr. Agbor Ogar Inagu. (Ikom Constit. 1), Mr. Emmanuel Elom (Ogoja) and Mr. Inameti Oyo-Ita (Calabar South const.1)

The Statement directed the out gone CROs to immediately handover all government property in their possession, including their official vehicles, to the Office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
