The PDP Senatorial candidate of the northern senatorial district and first term house of representatives member for Ogoja/Yala federal constituency in the national assembly, Rose Okoji Oko was yesterday absent from her party’s campaign flag-off in Ogoja, fuelling the speculation that she is seriously ill and out of the country for treatment.
The candidates under the platform of the PDP from the state house of assembly to the governorship position were all presented by Governor Liyel Imoke, but Honourable Oko was absent when introduced by the chairman of the party Ntufam John Okon, rather it was her poster which was taken from a supporter that was displayed with a section of the supporting crowd asking questions about her whereabouts.
Crossriverwatch learnt that honourable Oko is out of the country for treatment of an undisclosed ailment.
