Senator Ben Ayade, the Peoples Democratic Party governorship flag bearer in the April 11 election in Cross River State, has continued to maintain a lead in the second round count of the CrossRiverWatch governorship opinion poll ongoing on the website after gaining additional 4% and moving from 51% to 55% in the second round.
His closest opponent, the Labor Party Candidate, Ntufam Fidelis Ugbo who garnered 28% of the votes in the first round lost 4% and came down to 24% while Odey Ochicha of the All Progressives Congress, APC gained 1% and moved to 15% of the votes casted so far.
Ms. Henrietta Henry of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPC also lost 1% and came down to 1% while Okwa Phillip Ogbo of the Independent Democrats, maintained the 4% he got in the first round.
Voting in the third and final round has been extended to 9th of April 2015.
