Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Cross River state, Mr. Odey Ochicha has congratulated the winner of the just concluded presidential polls, General Muhammadu Buhari saying that Buhari’s victory was well deserved following his resilience and sincerity in offering Nigerians quality service and leadership.

Ochicha was also of the view that the victory of the retired General was a victory for all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliation adding that the wind of change for which it symbolizes was strong enough to carry all sections of the Nigerian society along with it.

In a statement from the Media Office of his campaign organization, Ochicha said the situation in the country at the moment calls for some level of compromise especially from the people of the state whom he said must quickly align with the new reality to save the state from being a lone ranger in national reckoning.

The APC guber hopeful also remarked that the APC presidential candidate deserved the victory as he traversed the entire landmass of the country to canvass for votes.

Besides, Ochicha said Buhari has a rich antecedent of transparency and accountability as well as of integrity and honesty which are needed for the fight against corruption.

He said Nigerians massively voted for Buhari because he has the pedigree to end corruption, insurgency and other criminal tendencies adding that under his watch Nigeria will be returned to the path of glory and honor.

He assured that the retired General will never disappoint Nigerians because his words are his bond.
