Ndoma Egba Congratulates Buhari

Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN) has joined the list of other prominent Nigerians to congratulate President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari on his victory and described it as “the high point of Nigeria’s democracy.”

The Senate Leader also commended President Goodluck Jonathan for conceding victory just as he described it as “a defining moment in our history.”

In a personal statement in Abuja on Thursday, Senator Ndoma-Egba urged the President-elect to always remember that, “the mandate given to you is for change” and Nigerians would “expect to see the change.”

Referring to Jonathan’s gesture of conceding victory to Buhari, the Senate Leader said “the President has demonstrated statesmanship. He has set a new standard for political behaviour” in Nigeria’s politics.
