One Shot Dead In Calabar South Over Cult Rivalry

Information reaching CrossRiverWatch has it that some members of a criminal cult group Supreme Vikings Confraternity, yesterday, Friday 22/05/2015 short and killed a member of another rival gang, Skilo.

The incident which occurred between 7:15pm and 7:30pm at a local joint in Effanga Nsa street Calabar South, Cross River State (the street where the Palace of the Obong of Calabar is located) was said to have occurred within “a twinkle of an eye” by some eye witnesses.

According to our sources the members of SVC arrived the street in a keke napep (tricycle) numbering about 6, they entered the joint which has no particular name but owned by one Arito where some Skilo members where drinking and immediately short one of them twice.

After shooting their target twice and had people scampering for safety, they took his lifeless body away with them to an unknown destination.

As at the time of filling this report the name of the victim was still unknown and all efforts made to contact the state Police Public Relations Officer, Hogan Bassey for comments were not successful.
