I Will Not Need Cross River Money To Dualize Calabar-Ikom-Ogoja-Obudu Highway – Ayade

The governor of Cross River State, Senator Ben Ayade has told Cross Riverians, Nigerians that the dualization of the Calabar-Ikom-Ogoja-Obudu ranch resort highway which he listed among his signature projects will not be constructed with the state government allocation.

The governor spoke while giving a remark at the inaugural ball which held at the Calabar International Conference Center, CICC on Friday night.

Senator Ayade also revealed that the design for the dual carriage way is ready and work will soon commence.

His words: “I thank you all for this dinner and hope that we shall get to work on Monday and by the time this Monday starts, this story will change, the business tone will start. I like to thank my business friends, the dual carriage way design is completed, work is about to start. And of course we will not need Cross River money; I assure you we will make it”.

The governor also assured Cross Riverians that his reign as governor of the state is a time for Cross River state to shine.

“I use this opportunity to thank everybody gathered here, it is the turn of Cross River State to shine and we must shine, we will shine”. He said.
