Hon. John Gaul Lebo, Speaker Cross River State House of Assembly has stated that his constituency (Abi) is indeed lucky to have produced a Speaker of the House of Assembly immediately after producing the Governor of the State.

John Gaul said this while addressing members of Imabana Progressive Forum, IPF, a traditional group of indigenous Abi sons and daughters who paid him a courtesy visit in his office recently.

While extolling them for the support given to him during and after the election, he asserted that there is an urgent need for the group to contemplate what constitutes the Imabana politics as strangers are taking over what rightly belongs to the Imabana people.

He ended by encouraging them to keep their heart open and support the present administration in areas needed while encouraging them to aspire to lead because the future belongs to the youths of today.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Imabana Progressive Forum, Anwara Emogor while speaking commended the Speaker for keeping to his promise of ensuring that two of their members are directly employed through him.

He pledged to ensure that his group key into the agenda of the Ayade administration and concluded by urging the House to always conduct their business with the interest of the generality of the state at heart.
