The Managing Director, Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Engineer Saleh Dunoma has disclosed that plans are in top gear to complete all uncompleted projects in airports across the country.
This assurance is coming against the background of fears that the Federal Government may have abandoned the upgrading of airport facilities across the country, a project which was kick started by the previous administration.
Engineer Saleh made the disclosure during his visit to the Margaret Ekpo International Airport Calabar where he said the rationale of his visit is to know the present state of facilities in place at the airport to ascertain where to start the intervention from.
He further encouraged staff of the Calabar airport to remain committed to their job as they have always done, affirming that “hard work pays”.
On his part, the Manager, Margaret Ekpo International Airport, Calabar, Alhaji Mahmud Sani eulogized his boss for remembering them in his program.
He pledged to leave up to expectations as well as ensure that staff under him comply with the directive and policy direction of the head office.
