The Speaker, Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. John Gaul Lebo has appointed the Chairman House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Hon. Eteng Williams Jonah who represents the Yakurr State Constituency as his Special Adviser.

In a related development, Mr. Ideba Azogor, a former Abuja liaison correspondent for Nigerian Chronicle, has also been appointed by the Speaker as his Chief Press Secretary, CPS.

According to the Speaker while making the disclosure during the plenary session of today, the appointees who appointments take immediate effect are to help make his job easier.

Until his appointment, Ideba Azogor was the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman of Abi Local Government Council, Mrs. Edith Amadi.
