A CrossRiverWatch reporter on Sunday ran into a corpse along government secondary school, Goldie by Atu street in Calabar. Upon inquiry, the deceased was said to be a serial robber in the neighbourhood.
An eye witness told our reporter that, he was caught last night trying to rob somebody, he is said to belong to a notorious gang that robs people along Goldie. Residents say they usually climb trees to wait for victims.
As at the time he was caught, he was on a tree waiting for victims before boys around the area planned and caught up with him and set him on fire.

People around identified him as just returning from prison not up to one month.
