Mr. Joe Agi, SAN a PDP governorship aspirant in the last general election in Cross River State, has said that he is yet to notice any developmental strides in the State since Ayade took over as governor of the state.

Agi who is seeking to remove Ayade in Court has also appealed the judgment of an Abuja High Court which threw out his suit against the governor.

Agi had sued the Peoples Democratic Party and the Independent National Electoral Commission asking that he be substituted with Governor Ayade as the bona fide candidate of the party, alleging that the governor did not meet the requirements to emerge as the candidate of the party.

But the Senior Advocate of Nigeria speaking recently in his Maitama residence while playing host to the Cross River State Chapter of the Nigeria Bar Association, NBA popularly called Doyen Bar, who visited him after the NBA Conference which held in Abuja last week, said he will not hesitate to withdraw his appeal if the governor can convince him otherwise and show evidence that he is determined to better the lot of the people of Cross River State.

Mr. Joe Agi informed members of the Bar that, his desire and ambition to govern the State is borne out of his sincere and genuine intention to better the lives of Cross Riverians and if he sees that the governor is also going in that direction, he will also withdraw his appeal. .
