The Speaker of the Cross River State of Assembly, Hon. John Gaul Lebo has disclosed that the State Assembly has concluded plans to begin publication of a legislative journal.
He said the first ever Legislative Journal of the Assembly will be published in December 2015.
According to the Speaker in a post on his facebook timeline, “The Journal will be a quarterly publication of the House vide the Reportorial Department of the Assembly.
“The Journal will contain select and peculiar intellectual content with sector bias to the Legislature.
“Articles from interested members of the public will be accepted provided they meet the content quality standard.
“Already, the House Legislative Agenda and Direction will form part of the Thematic Template for Articles.
“This week, an Editorial Team will be put in place to work out the PIN, Project Initiation Note for the journal.
“The journal will form part of the Human Resource Item and institutional memory of the House.” He said.
