President Mohammadu Buhari touched down at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport in Calabar this morning and after a brief ceremony and parade by members of the Armed Forces, he along with the State Governor, Senator Ben Ayade were meant to depart in presidential chopper to the scene of the ground breaking ceremony for the 260km Super Highway in Nsan, Akamkpa LGA but were stopped by heavy rains and had to go by road.
Former governors, Donald Duke and Senator Liyel Imoke were also on hand to welcome the President to Calabar.
