A Sienna Space bus belonging to Transport Company of Anambra State, TRACAS was yesterday afternoon involved in a lone accident.
The TRACAS bus according to eye witness broke down at IBB Way by U. J Esuene stadium, Calabar yesterday afternoon at about 1:50pm then a passerby volunteered to aid the driver push the vehicle.
While pushing, the bus kicked oof and was on speed but the driver’s door refused opening which led to the driver struggling to control the moving vehicle from outside.
After trying for long the TRACAS bus with company number 771 lost control and crashed into a concrete barricade dividing the road opposite Nigeria Custom barracks, leaving the driver injured severely with broken left leg.
As at the time of filling this report the driver had been rushed to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.
