Egor Efiok was on Sundday crown with the Award Of Excellence at the Hollywood Weekly Magazine Film Festival on 1st November 2015 in faraway California.
The festival which held at the Dick Clark Screening Room at 2900 Olympic Blvd., in Santa Monica, Ca. also screened “Beyond Blood” by Nollywood Director Greg Odutayo, who is a member of PFN (Professional Filmmakers Of Nigeria) which Egor is President; as well as “Unge’s War” produced by Bernard Kawaja and co-produced by Egor Efiok.
These is the first Nigerian films ever to be screened at the film festival in the presence of the cream of Hollywood right in the heart of Rodeo Drive.
An excited Efiok told CrossRiverWatch from California that: “I also screened Unge’s War produced by fellow Cross Riverian Bernard Kawaja and co-produced by myself, so we made our State, (Cross River) stand out, as Unge’s War and Beyond Blood by Greg Odutayo were the only Nigerian films to be screened there amongst legendary films like The Holocaust.”
