A former Group General Manager, Crude Oil Marketing Department, GGM COMD of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC Jedy Agba has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The frontline gubernatorial aspirant in the last general elections was this afternoon welcomed into his new political family by the Chairman of the APC in the northern Senatorial District, the Chairman of the Central Senatorial District, Hon. Cletus Obun and the Obudu Chapter Chairman of the party, Mr. Mathias Ugbelishor, at the Liyel Imoke Civic Center in Obudu amidst a large crowd of supporters.
The event which obviously breathed ecstasy into the APC faithfuls in Obudu was however a sober moment for the Obudu Prince who thanked the APC for accepting them saying “we came like the prodigal sons. We have not come to overtake but we have come to serve and be humble to the party.”
Joining him in the cross over is his ally and former Chairman of Obudu LGA, former National Spokesman of the PDP and one of the founding members of PDP in the State, Mr. Venatius Ikem and several others.
CrossRiverWatch also gathered reliably that a former member of the House of Representatives and the immediate past Commissioner representing Cross River in the NDDC, Hon. Paul Adah will also formally declare for the APC come December 29, 2015 in Obudu.
