The Senator who timed his tour of the local councils in district to align with the festive period used the opportunity to dole out gift items and cash worth over 20 million Naira to his constituents for their continued support for his politics.

The tour which started from Abi Local Government Area Council, where he first commissioned his constituency office in the local council also saw him addressing all the Chiefs and Clan Heads of the L.G.A and wishing them merry celebrations with special cash stuffed envelopes which saw the elders smiling home and pouring so many blessings on the Senator.

He proceeded to the council town hall where he addressed party faithfuls and also informed them that he has made available over 30 bags of rice per each political Ward to be shared among the people in addition to same special envelopes for all the excos of the party.

He also pledged to continue representing them well in the National Assembly and promised more from him in the next four years.

After Abi he proceeded to Yakurr Local Government Area where he was welcomed by the Obol Lopon and other traditional Clan Heads.

He also donated rice and cash to the Ugep people for the Christmas celebration and while reacting to the visit, the Obol Lopon of Ugep, thanked Senator John Owan Enoh for his continuous support for the Yakurr people. “On behalf of my fellow Chiefs and the good people of Yakurr, I thank you for the massive support given to us this Christmas and for extending a hand of kindness to our people. I want to reassure you and reaffirm our conviction in you that we will always support you.” The monarch said.

Leaving Yakurr, he headed to Obubra where he was welcomed at the junction by the member representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mike Etaba and an entourage of traditional dancers.

He headed straight to the gathering of the council of elders where he met with a number of Chiefs who came to welcome him. He extended the same Christmas gesture to the people of Obubra including branded recharge cards, magazines, rice and cash.

He further proceeded to Ogambang, a small rural community where he laid the foundation stone for a community primary school initiated by Hon. Elucate Okora, member representing Obubra in the Cross River State House of Assembly.
