Cross River State College of Education, Awi/Akamkpa will soon become a degree awarding institution.
The disclosure was made by Dr. James Ejue, Provost of the College recently at the matriculation of 1, 500 new intakes in the 2015/2016 academic session which is also the 7th matriculation ceremony of the institution.
Dr. James encouraged the freshers to take academic activities serious and maintained that there is a reward for everyone depending on choices made.
Ejue further said “Only when you take your academics seriously can you justify your years on campus”.
He urged the students to make use the E-Library, and revealed that the E-Library has been equipped with electronic facilities to enhance learning.
While concluding, he maintained that “obey all rules and regulations because they are for your good”.
Chairman of the institution’s Governing Council, Dr. Steve Adah on his part congratulated the students for being a part of the “great citadel of learning” and implored them to maintain the high academic standards of the College.
