Calabar Based Entertainment Outfit Loses 3Million Naira Worth of Equipment To Burglars

The premises of Finest Communication, a media and film making company based in Calabar Thursday night was burgled with equipment worth millions of naira carted away, CrossRiverWatch can authoritatively report.

The manager of the outfit located at Old Ikang in Marian, Okoro Fidelis who confirmed the incident to CrossRiverWatch said that they had gone for an event came back that night, and locked their office, only to come the following morning to find their office burgled.

Okoro said the burglars probably came through the toilet and ransacked an office, broke into cupboards, throwing papers everywhere and upon not finding anything, then broke the glass protecting the room where the equipment were kept and subsequently brought down the inner iron protectors and carted away with the equipment worth over 3 million Naira.

Among the items reportedly stolen are; 1 Canon 5D Mach 3, 1 Canon 600D, 1 Canon 60D for cameras and 1 each of 75 MM, 105 MM, 135 MM and 15 MM camera lens as well as 1 Hewlett Packard (HP) laptop.

As at the time of filling this report, the incident is said to have been reported to the police and no arrest has been made so far.
