Debutant, Lilian Igbang, who just released her first film as Producer has said that she is overwhelmed by the prayers and love showered on her by her fans and lovers of the new movie, Romantic Cheat.
The Ukelle, Yala LGA born actress who said the release of her film is a fulfilment of a long held dream also appealed to movie lovers all over the world to encourage her new venture by watching the short movie which is currently only available on YouTube Episode1, Episode2, Episode3.
“I had some of our Ukelle brothers pretending to be so proud of me. According to them ‘you are the only Ukelle person in the movie industry.’ I don’t know how true that is, and if that is true then shame on us! But I strongly believe they are one or two Nollywood underground hustlers from Ukelle, and he or she might just give up due to lack of opportunities.
“Apart from our Ukelle brothers abroad and a few others here in Nigeria. If you have not watched my short film on YouTube please do so, so we can get more money to carry out bigger projects that will help carry other Ukelle young actors along. Don’t just sit there and form “proud of you” because I hear that all the time.” She said on her facebook timeline.
The film ‘Romantic Cheat’ is centered on a newly married working class lady, who allowed her passion for her job overwhelmed her.
She got promoted shortly before her wedding, and started denying her husband of his matrimonial privileges including sex, cooking and house-keeping.
So the young groom out of frustration, decided to find solace in the hands of his sister in law (Sharon) who was on holiday visit at the couple’s home.
It’s a must watch.
